NORTHWICH girl Kelsey Poulton has been crowned Miss Galaxy International Pageant after competing against girls from all over the world in Orlando.
Kelsey competed in Orlando in 2018 for the international title and was the first runner up. This gave her the opportunity to represent Europe at this year's Miss Galaxy International pageant in America where she won the prestigious title and crown.
After spending the week in Orlando taking part in lots of exciting activities such as interviews, photoshoots and parties, Kelsey took to the international stage to compete against girls from across the globe to win the Miss Galaxy crown.
She wowed the judges and also won the awards for – Best in Swimwear, Best in Fashion Wear, Best in Evening Wear, and Best in Interview.
In the lead up to the international final, Kelsey held her own charity event in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation and made countless public appearances all over the UK. Kelsey will continue to put her crown to good use as Miss Galaxy.
She said: “It is an absolute dream come true to have been crowned Miss Galaxy at the international finals. It has been an incredible journey with the Galaxy System where I have gained confidence and poise and have made life-long friends from across the globe.
“I am so excited to represent Galaxy for another year with all the opportunities that it will bring.”
Away from the cameras, Kelsey works as a Travel Operations Coordinator at On the Beach Holidays in Manchester.
Holly Pirrie, competition director, said: “Kelsey now has an extremely exciting year ahead of her as Miss Galaxy which includes an amazing trip to Chicago next year.”
