During November and December the charity received gifts and toys that were distributed throughout the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Foundation Trust to patients. Tesco Extra in Crewe held a month long toy appeal. Other donations of items were given from Hays Travel, Banks Sheridan Accountants, Dabbers and Crewe Kings Scooter Club to name a few.
Many of the local supermarkets including Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Co-Op stores showed their support by donating items which the charity then distributed to grateful staff through their annual ‘festive treats trolley’.
The charity also received a great response from the local community after asking groups, businesses and Trust staff to fundraise for their Lost Little Ones baby bereavement suite appeal during the festive period. Alextra Accountants, Northwich Radio, Pickmere Extra Care, Minshulls Nurseries and many more held festive fundraising to boost the appeals total.
Carole Salmon, MCH Charity Community Fundraiser said: “We were delighted to receive so much support from the local community not only in fundraising donations but also a wealth of toys, gifts and treats. Our Lost Little Ones appeal is already almost half way to the 100k target which wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of local businesses, members of the public and trust staff ”.
Mid Cheshire Hospitals charity are keen to support more local groups and businesses with their fundraising. Whatever you choose to do, they can support you through your fundraising journey and can offer lots of resources and support to help make whatever you do a huge success.
